Overgrown shrubs and trees blocking 50% of path.

Reported via desktop in the Hedges category anonymously at 16:16, Sun 7 July 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Between Churchill Cresent and Queens Road junction there are various area's where shrubs / bushes are covering 50% of the path. This makes it difficult and dangerous for infant buggies, mobility scooters, and in our case a young boy riding a scooter to pass without going to the very edge of the path on what at times is a very busy road.

  • Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. While Oxfordshire County Council is not responsible for this problem the vegetation is down to the homeowner to maintain, however a notice to the affected address is currently not possible as the property is boarded up, vacant. Until such time as it becomes vacant, owned again we can then send a notice if it still poses a problem. If nothing happens in the next couple of months please re raise and we can check the status again
