A lots of weeds, massive grass's, nobody care, danger for the kids,in this year nobody from council cut the grass, why we have to do, why we have to pay council tax and the street looks horrible

  • Thank you for your enquiry. Oxfordshire County Council, as the Highway Authority, is ultimately responsible for the maintenance of grass verges alongside the carriageway network throughout Oxfordshire (excluding motorways and trunk roads). Under our new approach, all roadside verges in both rural and urban areas are cut once a year. If necessary, we will trim areas that impede driver visibility more regularly.
