Nearly had a head on crash due to the incredibly dangerous state of the road here as already reported!. The left hand side of the road is not suitable for normal cars and means you have to move to the middle of the road and thus into oncoming traffic. If you hit the patch of damaged road especially with low profile tyres you would certainly damage them and or the wheel.

The trenching has been partially done. A section of about 2mts to the southerly end hasn't. Maybe they ran out of tarmac. Vehicles still taking avoiding action at the last minute steering into oncoming traffic.
