  • If Im not mistaken much of the foliage on the left of the photo originates from a Streamside House property ? If responsibility was taken by the owner to trim their fence/hedge this would alleviate the problem. People should not be cycling or using skateboards or scrambling bikes on the pictured stretch of path. Its a pavement.Since the safety bars which had been there since 1964 were removed several years ago for some bananas reason (I heard that a single wheelchair user once complained they were too narrow)its made the path concommitently more hazardous as you point out.If this goes on there will be an impenetrable stretch of hedge across the entire path.Someone with a hedge trimmer and an ounce of initiative please get down there! If the powers that be have abrogated their responsibility then it behoves the concerned to at least make some improvements. If something is blocking the public thorughfare and the authorities will not act whats the legal position re Right of Way?
