Longford Park since being taken over by the Council has been left to grow out of control! It used to be a pleasant walk being able to access all areas of the park. Unfortunately now access is limited due to the long grasses.

Reported via mobile in the Grass category anonymously at 09:37, Fri 5 July 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 7 minutes later

The long grasses create a hazard for dog owners as long grasses harbour tics. Also the seeds on long grasses are a potential health hazard as if ingested by dogs the seeds can become lodged in the throat and lungs. It used to be such a lovely accessible walk I appreciate some areas are left to wild flowers but the grasses have just been left to get too long! Please keep Longford Park walkable.
