Hedges overhanging the footpath so that people have to walk in the road which is extremely dangerous because of the very limited visibility.

Reported via desktop in the Hedges category by David Gosling at 16:30, Wednesday 3 July 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I note that the problem was first reported to the Council over a month ago. The Council's website says the Council writes to landowners in these situations asking them to cut back the vegetation. This is not good enough; it is a dangerous situation - somebody will sooner or later get hit by a vehicle if no action is taken. The Council have powers to remove obstructions and charge the cost to the landowner and that should be done in this instance.
