Lack of street lighting

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council 1 minute later

Lack of street lighting on this strech of path, needs improving. There are lights on either side of the wooded area, but not in the wooded area, therefore leaving it very dark and scary during night hours. With the rise in crime in Watchfield, it would be good to get some lighting in this area to improve public safety.

  • I am housekeeping older reports and found this. Unfortunately Oxfordshire County Council does not have any funds available to install additional lighting as our street lighting budget is used for the energy, cost and maintenance of our existing street lights.
