Tree overhanging footpath

Reported via mobile in the Report a tree problem category anonymously at 15:34, Tue 2 July 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

I reported this tree some months ago as it was overhanging the footpath and the lower branches meant that there was not 2m clearance so pedestrians have to walk into the road. This has not been rectified but the report has disappeared. Please cut back as a priority as the response from OCC on 8th March was that this would be dealt with the next time the team were in the area.

  • Tree still needs cutting back before the school children go back to school. Many parents use this path and have to duck under the branches.

Please can this be cut back before school starts in September?

  • This has still not been dealt with. School has now started and with the heavy rains parents are having to duck under the waterlogged low hanging branches. There is heavy foot traffic here during school terms and this affects a good number of people. Please action urgently.
