  • Thank you for your report.
Please see the following link to our website with details of traffic calming.
    https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/ cms/ content/ traffic-calming-and-speed-humps
Our very limited resources are focussed on areas with a poor accident history and I can at least say our injury accident database shows no significant problem along this specific road.
Regarding the speeding issue, this needs to be reported directly to the Police who are responsible for carrying out enforcement and can be done via this link:
Contact us | Thames Valley Police
    https://www.thamesvalley.police.uk/ contact/ af/ contact-us/ .
As I am sure you appreciate the Police will have to prioritise according to their resources.

For information a community speed-watch scheme has recently been relaunched by TVP which may be of interest. The press statement is here:
    https://www.thamesvalley-pcc.gov.uk/ news-and-events/ thamesvalley-pcc-news/ 2021/ 03/ restart-and-relaunch-for-community-speedwatch-in-2021/
and the information on the initiative is here:
https://communityspeedwatch.org. Town and Parish councils can sign up to these schemes to assist with the lowering of vehicular speeds on the highway network. Your constituents letter mentions “residents holding cameras” so it could be the case that a speed-watch initiative is already in place and could be confirmed by contacting the Parish Council.
