Surface water on the pedestrian crossing Laburnum Grove side.

Reported via mobile in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 19:08, Wed 26 June 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Just had an email update and reason why job is closed. It is nothing to do with saturated ground and large volume of rain for a period of time. The drainage by the crossing does not work due to road surface gradient not letting it run into the gulleys and the drainage not being adequate. It has lots of surface water on the crossing when a heavy shower falls. It has been an issue for many years now. As stated previously, it’s not safe to use for the school children or elderly community.
