Thorn bushes damaging my fence

Reported via desktop in the Hedges category anonymously at 17:17, Tue 25 June 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Hi,

There has been an ongoing problem of thorn bushes damaging my back fence. The bushes are on council land that belong to the flats behind. The issue has now been going on for over 10 years now and I have told the council about it many times. I've have to replace many fence panels over the years due to this problem. I changed 2 panels in February and already they are damaged due to this. I have more photos and receipts for the fence panels which I would like to be reimbursed for please. My neighbour has had the same problem and her panels are completely destroyed as well as the thorns taking over for garden and damaging panels down the sides. The council have cut them down in the past but they keep coming back even worse, they really need digging up completely. Many thanks Ben
