The whole road is damaged

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Today the City Council Road marking team put new markings on the 3 humps in this road. In normal circumstances this would be welcomed as an attempt to alert speeding vehicles and make them slow down. However, in this instance it becomes a massive ironic statement alongside the general state of the road which is breaking up before the eyes of the residents.

Can you arrange to meet me and other residents to discuss this situation?

  • Thank you for your report. The lining team have been refreshing several lines and hump markings across the city. We are aware of Stratfield road, and it is currently on our list for surface works in the future for when we receive further funding. In the mean time, we will carry out an inspection and raise and safety defects for repair. Please continue to use fix my street to report potholes along this road and we will investigate.
