Block drains which causes flooding with strong smell of sewage
Reported via iOS in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 20:14, Mon 24 June 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
Kerbside drain is blocked and regularly causes flooding across access road. During the flooding there is a strong, almost overwhelming smell of raw sewage. Photos taken on a dry day but a small amount of water remains along with the smell and there is an associated cloud of insects (midges/mosquitos??) The flooding and smell must be bad for the nearby hotel, restaurant and petrol station.

This weekend 27/28 July the weather was hot and dry but the drains are overflowing again (see photo) The smell is truly offensive. It must be a health hazard. It is now a month since this was first reported - something needs to be done!

I have been walking past here daily for the past 2 weeks and the smell of sewage is getting worse. This is a potential public health issue and should be fixed asap. I can't believe this was initially reported in June and nothing has been done.
