Further feedback - pathway dangerous for pedestrians

Reported via desktop in the Report a tree problem category anonymously at 16:05, Mon 24 June 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Thank you for your feedback on the report I originally made. Can I point out that Highways' responsibility is for the safety of pedestrians as well as drivers and simply saying 'policy' isn't very satisfactory - especially when you go on to say, in terms 'of course if it obscured a driver's view we'd cut it back' That seems to be a skewed priority - especially in the light of the new Highway Code revisions which place a greater emphasis on the priority & safety of more vulnerable road users. I appreciate I'm a nuisance but I think you have this wrong on this occasion and I'd be grateful for your reconsideration.
