Lilac tree

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There is a lilac tree behind my fence. It has broken my fence panel and I can’t replace it whilst the tree is there. It very large and blocking all of the light in the garden. It also hangs over the public footpath. I need to secure my garden but cannot do so unless the tree is removed. It is situated on the corner of the Barford and Milton road. Thanks Ian bignell

  • Thank you for your enquiry. As the vegetation is rooted at the highway boundary, is considered within the responsibility to maintain with the adjacent house holder or riparian land owner. Therefore it is the house holders responsibility to maintain on this occasion.
