Drain and gulley is completely blocked & water won't drain

This drain and most of the others along the whole length of Kennylands road are completely blocked up with mud and silt. Consequently the water cannot drain when it rains. According to your records they were last cleared in 2020, so long overdue for being cleared

    Water not draining after rain, anyone walking along the pavements in the village risks getting a soaking from passing cars along Kennylands Road, Wood Lane and other roads which are not being maintained by OCC

  • Thank you for your report. We have scheduled the work to dig out the ditches alongside 55 Kennylands and are currently awaiting a start date. The work is expected to commence within this year. we have recently cleaned all the gully along this road in September.
