Damage to fence by workmen

We have recently had about 3 weeks of contractors working outside our property with massive plant equipment . Upon completion we have been left with damage to our fence. It also looks at some point as though some sort of weed killer has been used to greenery outside our boundary The work and all equipment removal has been completed today. We have kept our boundaries maintained by the company Bowood, there is now a breach to our security. As my husband and I are 78/79 it is a worry, please advise
