  • This is now getting very dangerous. You cannot see down Newington Road coming out of the new estate. Seen 2 near misses especially as they do way over 30 mph.

  • STILL VERY DANGEROUS! And you are still investigating which is been ongoing for a long time! All it needs is not even 10 minutes work in comparison to there being a nasty accident!

Oxfordshire County Council, as the Highway Authority, is ultimately responsible for the maintenance of grass verges alongside the carriageway network throughout Oxfordshire (excluding motorways and trunk roads). Under our new approach, all roadside verges in both rural and urban areas are cut once a year. If necessary, we will trim areas that impede driver visibility more regularly.
