This is a blind corner . This has high follow of frequent traffic due this being a public Health Centre for the village and surrounding areas. This Corner has not only got a large car footfall but pedestrians, horse, tractors. plus people have to physically walk in the road to get to the publish footpath to and from the surgery.

  • Thank you for your report.
    The county do not provide or support the use of road mirrors on the highway. The image they provide can be misleading in terms of vehicle speed and distance giving drivers a false sense of security, potentially leading to vehicles emerging injudiciously. They are prone to vandalism, fogging in poor atmospheric conditions and glare from the sun or car headlights. If however permission is granted by a landowner adjacent to but off the highway and therefore outside the jurisdiction of the County, a suitable post and mirror may be erected.
    The County could accept no responsibility for a mirror so erected.
