Overgrown hedging blocking footpath

Reported via mobile in the Hedges category anonymously at 21:19, Tue 18 June 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Overgrown hedging and vegetation (including brambles) blocking the footpath. Along with the overgrown grass verges, it makes it extremely difficult to get through with my babies in their pushchair. It is unclear who is responsible for the derelict and overgrown land next to 2 Merritt Road on the corner of Freeman Road.

  • This is actually the side garden of 2 Merritt Road. It is extremely overgrown. The photo of the gate shows how bad it is. The box is supposed to be in front of his wall and the bramble is hanging down. This is the worst I have seen it. The path should be about 5 feet wide but his garden has encroached it severely.

  • When is this going to be sorted out ? It is always overgrown and someone is going to get injured with brambles at face level
