Vegetation overgrown & leaning into carriageway plus nettles
Reported via mobile in the Hedges category anonymously at 13:16, Tue 18 June 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
In several parts along Parsons Lane and Cat Lane, the hedges and verge vegetation is really overgrown and leaning into the carriageway, the vital road traffic warning signs showing bends in the road and pedestrians etc are completely hidden until you are right next to them. There are also large stinging nettles along many parts of the verge leaning into the road. There is no footpath for pedestrians along this route so all pedestrians are having to walk even more into the carriageway than normal which is very dangerous (especially schoolchildren walking to and from school), this needs to be checked out and addressed ASAP

This still hasn’t been addressed. The photographs provided in the report show the most problematic area of the growth. The result of this is cars driving on the wrong side of the road as they come up the hill. Particularly dangerous given the road is already small, that there is a blind bend, and no pavements for pedestrians
