Kerb and pavement profile contributing to flooding of homes

Reported via desktop in the Property Flooding category anonymously at 21:20, Mon 17 June 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

The kerb and pavement profile from 119 to 133 Whitecross is lower than the road outside these properties. This contributed to flooding of homes at 131 and 133 Whitecross on 4th January 2024 and subsequent risk of flooding on 18th February. The pavement and kerb drop down from the edge of the road; as a result surface water pours into the driveways of the properties and then goes from property to property to the lowest points at 131 and133.
