Overhanging hedges

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category by Maureen Stephens at 16:15, Mon 17 June 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Overhanging hedges protruding at least a meter into the roadway, and in some places more than a meter, so much so that cars cannot pass each other freely next to parked cars, along some of this stretch of the road. You used to get three cars abreast along all of this part of Church Road, but now one place is particular, cars have to wait for oncoming traffic.

  • This problem was first reported by myself in February this year. Nothing has been done about it and, as the summer has progressed, the problem has only got worse. Please advise what and when something will be done about this problem.

  • I have not heard how this investigation is going. It is an overhanging vegetation problem. Please advise what and when something will be done about this problem.
