Footpath widen
Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 17:40, Sun 16 June 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The footpath from Hardwick Avenue is wide enough to fill usage. However only a 1meter wide area is tarmac and both sides have approx 50cm+ area of mud/earth.
The narrow tarmac during busy periods is too narrow for school times. This means path users have to step onto the mud/ and sometimes even dog poo, hidden within the earth and rubbish.
Please can you look into making the full path into tarmac, accessible to all.
The school and path have been there for 60 years and it’s not looking to change anytime soon. This investment would be beneficial for the community.
