Most of this track by the bridge has over grown trees which the branches are over hanging onto track which are catching on the side mirrors and beacons of lorry trying to empty household bins

Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are legally obligated to properly maintain vegetation on their property that is next to the public highway. If the vegetation affects the safety of highway users, it becomes their responsibility. However, in this instance, since the highway was not obstructed, there may not be sufficient cause to take further action at this time. We will continue to monitor the situation during statutory inspections.
