Detritus growing from the side of the road

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 11:08, Wed 12 June 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I have ben advised to contact you - Fix my Street - after many calls to various authorities that have produced sympathetic comments but no action. This is a pretty one street village that is spoiled by the roadside being overgrown with weeds and grass that has been washed down the street. This rubbish is growing entirely from the gutter and road and not from any adjoining walls. As far as I can recall the street has not been cleaned for a very very long time. Could you please give me a positive response to this letter. (Both my husband and myself are 85 and 75 respectively and cannot physically do it ourselves). regards Mrs Helen Bond
