Damage to verge and edge of pavement
Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 16:36, Tue 11 June 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Due to the continual parking on the verge and the edge of the pavement, damage has been caused to both the surface and the blue brick edging. As no grass remains on the verge when it rains mud and gravel drain into the gutter on the main road causing water to sit on the surface as the drains get blocked. The verge has now sunk enough to start to show a base layer of stones. Parked cars also cause an obstruction for other road users. Note: there is parking available approx 25m away.
