Dangerous road crossing for pedestrians

Reported via iOS in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 07:28, Tue 11 June 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

There is a pedestrian crossing less than 100 yards from this roundabout but many pedestrians cross at the roundabout, using the small island as a “stepping stone” They often cross between cars already on the road at this point and during school inmuster and outmuster, large groups of school children are seen crossing at this point, sometimes dashing between cars. There is a safe, official crossing very close but they always use it. For the safety of all, a barrier needs to be erected at this point to guide pedestrians to the correct crossing point before someone is hit.
