Grass verge is too tall for bus stop

The grass verge is too tall that you can not see if people are in the bus stop or not, causing buses to break heavily and cause issues to other road users

  • Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are legally obligated to properly maintain vegetation on their property that is next to the public highway. If the vegetation affects the safety of highway users, it becomes their responsibility. However, in this instance, since the highway was not obstructed, there may not be sufficient cause to take further action at this time. We will continue to monitor the situation during statutory inspections.
