Further collapse of raised path adjacent to wall opposite Bankside,Main St, West Hanney.

Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category by Mrs Anne Taylor at 15:14, Sunday 9 June 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I first reported the failing of this raised pathway last year when no action was taken. I contacted again only last week as 3 coping stones had fallen out and these have now been repaired. There has now been another collapse further along as per photos. Yet again I would mention that this entire length of raised pathway is in a dangerous state. Flooding over past months has caused loss of supporting mortar and most of the stones are now loose.
