Shrubbery blocking road view

There is a lot of overhanging shrubbery on the corner of the road which blinds the view turning from the lane onto the main road which is likely to cause a serious accident soon

  • Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are legally obligated to properly maintain vegetation on their property that is next to the public highway. If the vegetation affects the safety of highway users, it becomes their responsibility. However, in this instance, since the highway was not obstructed, there may not be sufficient cause to take further action at this time. We will continue to monitor the situation during statutory inspections.
