Weeds and bushes over whole carraigeway

On Church Green beside The Grange Nursing Home the weeds and bushes/trees which I reported many months ago are still there and have not been touched. The growth is now completely covering one carraigeway. There is no pedestrian pavement there so it has become a very dangerous road and junction for both vehicles and pedestrian traffic. Urgent attention required to clear back to the stone wall boundary of the property

  • Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are required to maintain their boundary feature, including not allowing it to cause a highway obstruction. A letter of encroachment will be delivered to the property in question reminding them of their duties and requesting that they cut back their hedge/ vegetation to the property boundary
