Signage left on verge, please reopen
Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 18:17, Wed 5 June 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Metal A frame for traffic sign appeared on verge , may have fallen from a vehicle or got left behind during works.
This was previously reported with council ref ENQ24997597. It was closed in March, with a stated intention that “the gang” would collect it. That collection never happened, so I am resubmitting.
If Highways have no interest in this apparatus then please make that clear so that other means of disposal can be put in place.

Still pending, and It’s hard to understand why this is being so conspicuously ignored, other than the fact that nearly all fixmystreet issues are conspicuously ignored,
If OCC think it’s theirs, and they want it back, why don’t they say so? Delivery to OCC office premises could easily be arranged.
Otherwise, if it’s not theirs and/or they don’t want it back, why not say so? Disposal could be commenced, and they could close the case.
Theory: majority of fixmystreet submissions generate an email that is ending up in OCC’s spam folder? Would be embarrassing for OCC to admit, but honesty might be best policy.
