Footway needs widening

Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 08:36, Wed 5 June 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

The on carriageway footpath on the southern side of Grove Road, close to the junction with Drewitts Corner, is not wide enough to promote walking and cycling. The fact that the footway is delineated by a white line, rather than kerbs, makes users feel vulnerable to vehicles. This is made worse when the hedge on the north side restricts the road width further. Widening the footway and introducing kerbs would protect sustainable modes.
