Reinstate recommended lane road markings

Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category anonymously at 10:59, Tuesday 4 June 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

The Botley Interchange had recommended lane road markings in place during the bridge roadworks, which indicated traffic for the A34/left should use the left-hand lane, while ahead (Oxford/A420) and right-hand traffic should use the right-hand lane. This worked very well to improve traffic at the junction. However at the end of the roadworks, some of these lane indicators closer to the junction were removed. Can they please be reinstated for all directions? They are useful for drivers and have made the junction less prone to traffic jams.

  • This hasn't been updated yet. It would still be very useful to have these lane indicators reinstated.
