Inaccurate height limit warning sign!

Reported via desktop in the Traffic Signs category anonymously at 05:45, Sat 1 June 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

As the bridge at Newton Purcell on the A4421 has been raised to over 18 feet, due to the HS2 works, the sign in question says 15ft 3 in’ and needs to be removed as I have witnessed and followed quite a few trucks stopping in the next lay-by to find alternative routes and as a former trucker I’ve stopped to tell them that it’s ok to carry on.
