Overgrown hedges on both sides of the road.

Reported via mobile in the Hedges category anonymously at 21:10, Fri 31 May 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Road sign cannot be seen by delivery drivers. Hedges are overgrown and thorny and could have a child’s eye out. Also pavement gets slippy with vegetation growing out from underneath them.

Updates

  • State changed to: Investigating

Updated by Oxfordshire County Council at 21:10, Fri 31 May 2024

  • The hedge is still bad. This morning we nearly got hit by a car coming from the pavilion. They didn’t see us until the last minute because the hedge partially obscured their view. Road sign is still not very visible.

In this case, the highway appears to be impacted, so we will contact the land/property owner. If necessary, further action will be taken.
