Shrub growing half way across pavement

Reported via mobile in the Hedges category anonymously at 12:09, Thursday 30 May 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This bush at number 31 has been allowed to overgrow so now you can't get a pushchair, or mobility scooter, past without going in the road. It's also preventing access to water meters.

Council ref: ENQ241006049

  • It's over a month since this was posted. The problem is still there. It's had a very minor trim but we are in growing season and it will soon grow out even further. Still difficult to access water meters for 3 houses. There's another meter that isn't visible in this picture, at the boundary of the pavement and property.

  • May I add that it is causing a danger to those living in #s 32, 33, 34, 35 as their view to the right when driving out of the shared driveway is greatly restricted, and cars have to enter the road totally blind. Cars have to encroach into the road before the drivers have visibility to the right. The homeowners of #31 have been made aware of this, and asked if they will cut it back, before the first report was made but have done nothing about it.
