Flood due to blocked drain

Reported via desktop in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 13:00, Friday 24 May 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Despite claims that the gully was cleaned last year, its still blocked and causing flooding. WODC are now sweeping our streets again, but many drains in the Village are full of mud. Please arrange to get them dug out.

  • As reported in May this year we had serious flooding again here in Langford with the storm drain spewing 6 inches of slurry all along the road by the village phone box, people are walking in the middle of the road including disabled folk in wheelchairs and idiots are flying through the village as usual, someone will get hurt if the footpath is not opened. Due to 6 inches of slurry the path is unusable
