  • The whole length is dangerous using buggies. Daytime is bad but very dangerous at night and when the potholes are flooded after rain. in the day the route along the Lane had to be taken carefully as the buggie is very top heavy and will fall sideways with the occupant displaced if the wheel falls into a hole. A bad hole could lead to a hospital admission

  • There are numerous potholes along the length of Watling Lane. Some are sharp edged and deep. In some parts of the road it is impossible to avoid them as they are on both sides of the road. It is particularly hazardous when it has been raining as you cannot tell how deep they are. It is not safe to walk down the road at night. There is poor lighting and no pavement so pedestrians are obliged to use the road.
