Frequent severe flooding here when it rains

Whenever there is any significant rainfall the road floods badly here. I have lived nearby for about 14 years and nothing has been done to solve the problem. It is about time that measures were taken to ensure that adequate ditches or run-off pipes are used to allow accumulated rain to disperse. Quite what needs to be done is a matter for the council’s expert engineers but it must be possible to find a solution. Please!

  • Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. there is no highway asset along here and therefore responsibility will fall under the land owner to clear any ditches that may be full/ blocked
