Blocked surface water gulley

This gulley has been very well repaired recently but the gulley is blocked & is unable to take flood water from the blocked gulley further up Brown's Lane (also reported) which leads to potential flooding of town centre properties.

  • Thank you for your report. Oxfordshire County Council is responsible for maintaining approximately 120,000 gullies on the highway network. Gullies are cleaned in accordance with the County Council’s maintenance policy, and we operate a targeting program with a higher frequency of cleaning in areas at risk of flooding.
