Overgrown hedging on Bryony Road. 3rd time I'm raising this issue! This is outrageous

Reported via desktop in the Hedges category anonymously at 16:59, Tue 21 May 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Since September last year I have been raising this issue to Oxfordshire county council. The hedging alongside the pathway has : 1. Caused my cat to be run over a few months ago, as you cannot see into the road when driving along. 2. Me nearly having a head on collision whilst carefully pulling out of my driveway at my house (as drivers can't see ahead clearly) 3. Mothers with buggies not being able to walk safely long Bryony Road as the hedging is completely overhanging on the pavement 4. Pedestrians not being able to safely cross the footpath that traverses Bryony Way - as you cannot see either side of the road. I have no idea why you are so lax in your duty of care to residents. If this is not rectified by 24th May, I will be contacting Radio Oxford, my local MP, the Bicester Advertiser and Oxford Mail. I have evidence that I have raised this 3 times over the course of nearly 9 months! and in fact I have previously had to raise the same issue in 2022. It is completely unacceptable and I will hold Oxfordshire County Council liable for any accidents. FYI I am also now emailing this directly to the council offices, as clearly no one pays a blind bit of attention to this system.
