Overgrown shrubs, hedges and trees

Reported via desktop anonymously at 14:01, Thu 16 May 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council 1 minute later

I live in Bird Wood Court. Foliage needs cutting back on Peppard Road, directly outside Bird Wood Court on either side. We cannot exit our road safely as we can't see oncoming traffic. The hedges and shrubs all along the pavement from Bird Wood Court to Bay Tree Rise need severely chopping back. Please look at the photos. You can not see the proper edge of the inner pavement as it's totally covered in foliage. There are at least 2 traffic signs (cyclist and pedestrian) which are underneath hedges. This is so dangerous. We have put up with this overgrowth for years. Please can this be dealt with asap, for safety for all using this busy pavement on a very busy Peppard Road? Thank you.
