Resinstating footpath

Reported via mobile anonymously at 12:55, Thursday 16 May 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council 1 minute later

A pedestrian path (used to be tarmac) has been removed linking Crab Hill Lane with the new WPA school. Whilst I have been told this was not part of the Crab hill application and it was meant as a temporary link, it has been found extremely useful as a route of active travel to school with no interruptions with other crossings. A wildflower meadow going along the path was also destroyed. A great number of residents would like this to be reinstated (preferably hoggin). Getting rid of it is against county council's policies of active travel.
