Overgrown trees, bushes, and grass
Reported via mobile in the Grass category anonymously at 10:13, Sat 11 May 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
As you can see from the photos, the path has been made much smaller by the overgrown grass and low hanging trees. This makes it impossible to walk without being hit in the head or leg. It's also dangerous for not being able to see what is on the path Infront of you and having to pass strangers when you are touching them when passing.
You can not safely walk with a pram or wheelchair on any of these paths, this runs all the way from the Barton pool to the Sandhills subway.
I understand this is a budget cut, trying to save money, but this is a hazard and a safety issue and needs to be addressed.
The other side of the by pass has had trees prunned and the grass edges attended too which has widened the path, this took place about 3 weeks ago, so why isn't this side being cared for, which is in a much worst state!

Hi, can I please get an update on this. No cutting has taken place and since the reporting it has gotten worse, the path in places is just not passable. It's been raining a lot since I reported, this hasn't helped the drooping of long branches, but it's also wet and clothes are left with debris ok them form the trees and bushes.
You can not puch a pram, wheelchair or walk a dog safely anymore, this is a safety issue. It's also as advised before intimidating to walk past as who knows who could be hiding in the growth of the trees and bushes!
Please provide an update.
