Failed Surface

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 10:51, Fri 10 May 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

The whole roundabout is littered with holes and is completely, failed.

The roads only a few 100m away were recently re-surfaced, despite most of it actually being fine, but this roundabout was ignored and continues to be ignored.

The holes are dangerous for motorbikes and any cyclist brave enough to use it, so fix it properly.

  • I first reported the abysmal condition of the road surface through this roundabout some three years ago. NOTHING has been done in the intervening period and whilst driving through in a car is a bumpy and uncomfortable experience, the surface now constitutes a serious danger to the safety of motorcyclists, whose machines could easily become unsettled by the potholes, leading to a loss of control.

  • Not only has the surfaced failed, drivers are now swerving around the potholes. There will be a serious accident very soon, mark these words....
