The drainage gully’s blocked along this stretch of road outside my house

This causes water to flood into the road during heavy rainfall. These have been like this for many months.

  • These are still blocked. As we are now heading into Autumn when we get heavy rain the road will flood. When will they be cleared.

  • Thank you for your report. Oxfordshire County Council is responsible for maintaining approximately 120,000 gullies on the highway network. Gullies are cleaned in accordance with the County Council’s maintenance policy, and we operate a targeting program with a higher frequency of cleaning in areas at risk of flooding. This location has been forwarded to the Drainage/cyclical team for their attention/gully cleansing.
