Underpass needs urgent attention

The underpass is still flooding significently when it rains. The grids are broken and a hazard. A yellow cover has been placed here by the Council and a person has come off on this due to it being at a funny angle. This is a heavily used underpass by commuters to the Hospitals ,Teachers and staff to several school and students. This is an accident waiting to happen and needs a regular check not just fixing when reported.

  • Thank you for reporting the flooding caused by blocked gullies. We are aware of the situation and have initiated a reactive gully cleaning to address the blockage.
