Un safe public footpath

Reported via mobile in the Suggested improvements category anonymously at 21:03, Tuesday 7 May 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

To Whom it may concern,

I am enquiring to see who is responsible for the footpath from West to East Hendred along the A417, I walk this path occasionally and I am now finding it quite dangerous, the grass verge is encroaching onto the path causing it to narrow meaning you have to keep to the edge of the path and much too close to the fast moving traffic along the road, the path nearer the vineyard can be quite muddy and slippery. You could not push a buggy along there or push a bike and would even have trouble holding a child’s hand in certain places. This is the worst I have known it in 30 years of living here.

Please let me know your thoughts.

King regards
